Ask God to reveal whether you are using his gifts for his glory or allowing them to become sources of pride. 2. 📅 July 21, 2026 Today’s passage reminds us: God’s good gifts are corrupted when pride rules our hearts, but his grace restores us to use them for his glory. 3. ✝️ Ezekiel 28:1-19 The ruler of Tyre grew wealthy through wisdom and trade, but his riches made him proud, and he claimed to be a god. The Lord would bring ruthless foreigners to expose him as a mere man and destroy his splendor. Though the king had been created with wisdom, beauty, and privilege, violence and dishonest trade corrupted him. God cast him down, consumed him by fire, and brought him to a dreadful end. 4. 📖 Key Verse Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. Outward conditions such as circumcision or uncircumcision, slavery or freedom, are not ultimate; what matters is keeping God’s commandments and belonging to Christ. Therefore, they must not boast in human leaders or worldly wisdom, but seek true wisdom before God. Ask God to show you where your confidence truly comes from. 2. 📅 May 12, 2026 Today’s passage reminds us: God chooses the weak and overlooked so that we may boast only in Christ. 3. ✝️ 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 Paul reminds the Corinthians to consider their calling: not many were wise, powerful, or of noble birth according to worldly standards. Yet God chose what is foolish, weak, low, and despised in the world to shame the wise and strong, so that no human being may boast before Him. You Already Belong by Grace 🤝 7-Step QT 🙏 Quiet Time 📅 July 3, 2025 ✝️ Psalm 87:1-7 📖 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush— “This one was born there,” they say (v. 4). 📝 The key verse says that even the enemies of God’s people will become His people. How is that possible? Is it because they repented and believed? No—it’s because God did it. Dear friends, we are God’s people purely by His grace. So when we entrust our lives to Him, we begin to fully enjoy that grace.
