December 25, 2025 Today’s passage reminds us: True peace comes from recognizing Jesus as God’s salvation. 3. ✝️ Luke 2:25-35 Simeon, a righteous and devout man in Jerusalem, was waiting for Israel’s consolation, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. He had been promised he would see the Christ before death. Led by the Spirit, he entered the temple, held the infant Jesus, and praised God: “My eyes have seen Your salvation—a light for the Gentiles and glory for Israel.” Simeon blessed Mary and Joseph, warning that Jesus would bring both hope and division, and that Mary would experience deep pain. 4. π Key Verse For my eyes have seen your salvation (v. 30) 5. π Reflection Simeon wasn’t famous.
