It rejoices in God’s presence and reveals his glory through gratitude, generosity, and praise. 3. ✝️ 1 Chronicles 16:1-6 After the ark was placed in the tent David had prepared, David offered sacrifices to God and blessed the people in the LORD’s name. He gave food to every Israelite and appointed Levites to minister before the ark by invoking, thanking, and praising God. Asaph and the Levites played instruments, while the priests regularly blew trumpets before the ark. 4. 📖 Key Verse And they brought in the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God (v. 1). 5. 📝 Reflection I have never visi...

Because the Ammonites rejoiced maliciously when God's sanctuary was profaned, Israel was desolated, and Judah went into exile, God will give them to the people of the East and destroy them. Moab and Seir also treated Judah as no different from other nations, so God will expose Moab's cities and judge it. 7-Step QT Notes 1. 🙏 Quiet Time Pause. Take a deep breath. Ask God to help you understand what true freedom in Christ is, and how your freedom can be used for God’s glory and the salvation of others. 2. 📅 May 31, 2026 Today’s passage reminds us: Freedom in Christ is not permission to live for ourselves, but a calling to glorify God and build others up in love. 3. ✝️ 1 Corinthians 10:23-33 Paul teaches that Christian freedom is not for self-interest but for building others up. Believers may eat market food or meals served by unbelievers with thanksgiving, yet should abstain if the food is identified as sacrificed to idols, for another’s conscience. In all things, believers must seek God’s glory, avoid causing others to stumble, and use freedom in love so that many may be saved. 4. 📖 Key Verse So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (v. 31). 5. 📝 Reflection There may be no word that makes our hearts beat faster than the word “freedom.”...
