The psalmist calls the servants of the LORD to praise His name now and forever, from sunrise to sunset. The LORD is exalted above all nations and His glory above the heavens, yet He stoops to behold heaven and earth. He raises the poor and needy to places of honor and gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD.

5. 📝 Reflection
Recently, I watched a drama that realistically portrayed the joys and sorrows of office workers. As I watched the episodes of two main characters, a man and a woman working at a large corporation, struggling through various situations, I found myself laughing and crying with them. Perhaps I was able to relate so deeply because I, too, spent many years working in a large corporation.
One scene in particular remained in my mind and deeply resonated with me. It was a scene in which the main characters and those around them debated what kind of boss should be considered a good boss. The male lead said that even if a boss is somewhat selfish, he prefers one who performs his work with excellence. On the other hand, the female lead argued that even if a boss appears somewhat incompetent, she prefers one who cares for and guides his subordinates well. Soon, their coworkers joined in and shared their own opinions, and the discussion grew more intense. Yet what was interesting was this: in the end, every office worker wants a good boss. No one wants to work under a bad one.
Today, the psalmist gives us a remarkable confession: “Who is like the LORD our God?” (Ps. 113:5) This confession reminds us of a line from the song Moses and the people of Israel sang after they had left their long slavery in Egypt and crossed the Red Sea on dry ground on their way to the promised land: “Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods?” (Exod. 15:11) Therefore, the psalmist’s confession is not merely a slogan. It is a confession of faith rooted in the God he has truly experienced in his life. He is declaring that there is no one better than the LORD God whom he has known and experienced.
Beloved brothers and sisters, if working under a good boss is the desire of office workers, then following our good God is the wonderful privilege given to us as Christians. Before we ever called on God, He first chose us. And to experience this God in our lives is more precious and blessed than anything else in the world. Therefore, may you realize today that there is no one like the LORD our God, and may you confess Him as your own God.

Our heavenly Father, thank You that there is no one like You.
You are high above all nations, and Your glory is above the heavens.
Yet You come near to see, care for, and lift up the lowly.
Help me not to measure my worth by the standards of this world.
Teach me to trust that You see me, know me, and value me in Christ.
May my life become a daily confession that You alone are my God.

1 Praise the LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD!
2 Blessed be the name of the LORD
from this time forth and forevermore!
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting,
