π God never rejects His people. Unlike us, who easily discard others, His love is steadfast. Paul reminds us through Elijah’s story that a faithful remnant always remains—not by human effort but by grace. 7-Step QT Notes
1. π Quiet Time
Pause. Take a deep breath. Ask God to remind you that His love never quits and that you are secure in His grace today.
2. π September 28, 2025
Today’s passage reminds us: God never rejects His people—His grace holds us firm.
3. ✝️ Romans 11:1–10
Paul asks, “Has God rejected His people?” and answers with a strong “By no means!” Even when Israel turned away, God preserved a faithful remnant. Why? Because His promises never fail, and His grace—not our effort—keeps us.
4. π Key Verse
“I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means!” (v. 1)
5. π Reflection
We live in a world where everything feels temporary—jobs, friendships, even commitments. If something doesn’t work out, we move on. Sometimes we fear God might treat us the same way when we fail.
But here’s the truth: God doesn’t “ghost” His people. His love is not conditional. If you belong to Christ, you’re part of His story—not because you earned it, but because of grace. So when you feel unworthy or think you’ve messed up too much, remember: His promises are stronger than your failures.
Live today with confidence: you are chosen, loved, and secure in Him.

Scriptures
π 1 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” 4 But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. 6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened, 8 as it is written,
“God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.”
9 And David says,
“Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; 10 let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and bend their backs forever.” (Rom 11:1-10, ESV).
