✝️ Romans 8:31-39
-
π For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (vv. 38-39).
-
π Human relationships are fragile, easily formed and broken, while trust erodes. In contrast, God’s love in Christ is unshakable—nothing, not even death, can separate us from Him. This eternal relationship is God-initiated, not dependent on us. Live in the security of His love and embrace this unbreakable bond today.

7-Step QT Notes
1. π Quiet Time
Pause. Take a deep breath. Ask God to remind you that His love for you is unshakable and nothing can separate you from Him today.
2. π September 22, 2025
Today’s passage reminds us: Nothing in all creation can separate you from God’s love.
3. ✝️ Romans 8:31–39
Paul boldly declares that if God is for us, who can be against us? He gave His own Son for us—so why would He hold anything back? And then this incredible truth: nothing—life or death, angels or rulers, the present or the future, powers, height or depth—nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
4. π Key Verse
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (vv. 38–39)
5. π Reflection
Think about how fragile relationships feel today. Friendships fade. Dating often ends with ghosting. Even marriage—once considered unbreakable—can fall apart. Why? Because trust is fragile and people change.
But God’s love is different. It’s not based on your performance or your feelings. It’s anchored in Christ’s finished work on the cross. That means your worst failure, your deepest fear, or even death itself cannot separate you from Him.
In a world where everything feels uncertain, this truth is life-changing: You are fully loved, fully secure, and never alone. Live with that confidence today.
6. π¬ What does this passage speak to you today?
- Where in your life do you feel insecure or afraid of being abandoned?
- How would your choices change if you truly believed nothing could separate you from God’s love?
- Who needs to hear this truth from you today?
7. π Prayer
Father, thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love in Christ. When I feel insecure or afraid, remind me that I am safe in You. Help me live boldly in this truth and share Your love with others. Amen.
Scriptures
π 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 8:31-39, ESV).
