 No Condemnation in Christ ✝️

  3. ✝️ Romans 8:1-11

  4. πŸ“– There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (v. 1).

  5. πŸ“ Stricter border checks reminded me of heaven’s judgment. Like travelers awaiting approval, humanity faces an eternal verdict. Some will rejoice, others will grieve. Our only hope to avoid condemnation is Jesus Christ. In Him, the decision is already made: accepted, forgiven, free. Will you trust Him today?

7-Step QT Notes

1. πŸ™ Quiet Time

Pause. Take a deep breath. Ask God to help you rest in the truth that there is no condemnation in Christ.

2. πŸ“… September 19, 2025

Today’s passage reminds us: You’re not guilty anymore—because Jesus paid it all.

3. ✝️ Romans 8:1–11

Paul declares a life-changing truth:

  • No condemnation for those in Christ.
  • The law of the Spirit sets us free from the law of sin and death.
  • God did what the law couldn’t—He sent His Son to deal with sin. Now, the Spirit lives in us, giving life and peace.

4. πŸ“– Key Verse

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (v. 1)

5. πŸ“ Reflection

Imagine standing in an immigration line, waiting for approval to enter a country. One word from the officer decides your future. That’s how judgment feels—terrifying. But in Christ, the verdict is already in: “Not guilty.”

You don’t have to live under fear or shame anymore. The Spirit gives you life, not condemnation. So stop replaying your failures. Start living free—because Jesus already took your penalty.

6. πŸ’¬ What does this passage speak to you today?

  • Do I still live as if God is waiting to reject me?
  • What guilt or shame do I need to surrender to Christ today?
  • How can I walk in the Spirit’s freedom instead of fear this week?

7. πŸ™ Prayer

Lord, thank You that in Christ I am no longer condemned. Help me live free from guilt and shame, and walk in the Spirit’s life and peace. Amen.

Scriptures

πŸ“– 1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you (Rom 8:1-11, ESV).
