  3. ✝️ Romans 3:1-8

  4. πŸ“– By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged” (v. 4).

  5. πŸ“ We trust people when their words and actions align, but even the best fail. God never does—He is perfectly faithful and unchanging. Scripture and history confirm His truth. Now it’s our turn to live as witnesses of His faithfulness, showing the world that His promises never fail.

7-Step QT Notes

1. πŸ™ Quiet Time

Pause.
Take a deep breath.
Ask God to remind you of His faithfulness and help you reflect it in your life.

2. πŸ“… September 6, 2025

Today’s passage reminds us:
God is always faithful—even when people fail.

3. ✝️ Romans 3:1–8

Paul answers a big question:
If people are unfaithful, does that make God unfaithful?
Absolutely not!

Paul declares, “Let God be true though everyone else a liar” (v.4).
God’s character never changes.
He keeps His promises, even when we don’t.
That’s why we can trust Him completely.

4. πŸ“– Key Verse

“By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, ‘That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.’” (v.4)

5. πŸ“ Reflection

Think about how we judge someone’s trustworthiness:
Do their words and actions match? Are they consistent?
If they fail even once, we doubt them.

But God? He never fails.
His words and actions always align.
From creation to the cross to eternity—He is faithful.

The question is:
Do our lives reflect His faithfulness?

When people look at us, do they see integrity and truth—or compromise?
Today, let’s live in a way that says,
“God is trustworthy—and I trust Him.”

6. πŸ’¬ What does this passage speak to you today?

  • Where do I need to trust God’s faithfulness instead of my feelings?
  • How can I reflect God’s truth and integrity in my daily choices?
  • What promise of God do I need to hold onto this week?

7. πŸ™ Prayer

God, thank You that You are always faithful.
Even when I fail, You never change.
Help me trust You fully and live in a way that reflects Your truth.
Amen.

Scriptures

πŸ“– 1 Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? 2 Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. 3 What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? 4 By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written,

“That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.”

5 But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us? (I speak in a human way.) 6 By no means! For then how could God judge the world? 7 But if through my lie God’s truth abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner? 8 And why not do evil that good may come?—as some people slanderously charge us with saying. Their condemnation is just (Rom 3:1-8, ESV).
