  5. πŸ“ When your heart is heavy, pause and remember. God has moved before—He will move again. His wonders of old are not just stories; they are reminders that He is faithful. Look back, not to dwell, but to trust. The cross is proof: He saves, He leads, and He never forgets.

7-Step QT Notes

1. πŸ™ Quiet Time

Take a moment to slow down. Breathe. Invite God into this space. He’s already here, waiting to speak to your heart.

2. πŸ“… June 19, 2025

Today is a new day. Let’s meet God through His Word.

3. ✝️ Psalm 77:10–20

After pouring out his pain, the psalmist makes a powerful shift: he chooses to remember. He recalls God’s past faithfulness—His wonders, His power, His rescue. And that memory becomes the foundation for renewed hope.

4. πŸ“– Key Verse

“I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, I will remember your wonders of old.” (v. 11)

5. πŸ“ Reflection

When life feels uncertain, one of the most powerful things you can do is remember.

Remember how God has shown up before. Remember how He’s rescued, provided, and led you—even when you didn’t see it at the time.

The psalmist looks back at the Red Sea miracle (vv. 16–20) and finds strength.

And we, too, can look back—not just to the Exodus, but to the cross, where Jesus accomplished the ultimate rescue.

So today, remember:

  • God’s past faithfulness is fuel for present trust.
  • When you can’t see the way forward, look back at what He’s already done.
  • Jesus is the proof that God saves—and He’s not done with your story.

6. πŸ’¬ What does this passage speak to you today?

  • What are some moments when God showed up in your life?
  • How can remembering His past faithfulness help you trust Him today?
  • What would it look like to rest in the finished work of Christ?

Let’s pray for hearts that remember well—and for faith that grows stronger as we reflect on all God has done.

Scriptures

πŸ“– 10 Then I said, “I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. 12 I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. 13 Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? 14 You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples. 15 You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

16 When the waters saw you, O God, when the waters saw you, they were afraid; indeed, the deep trembled. 17 The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; your arrows flashed on every side. 18 The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook. 19 Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen. 20 You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron (Ps 77:10-20, ESV).
