📖 What’s Going On Here?

In this passage, God appoints leaders from each tribe of Israel to divide up the land of Canaan. These leaders, except for Joshua and Caleb, are not mentioned anywhere else in the Bible. But that doesn’t mean they were unimportant. God chose them for a specific purpose at a specific time.

💡 What This Means for Us Today

1. You Don’t Have to Be Famous to Be Used by God

Most of these leaders are “one-time names” in the Bible. But God still used them for something incredibly important—helping His people settle into the Promised Land.

2. Everyone Has a Role in the Community

These leaders didn’t work alone. They represented their tribes and worked together to carry out God’s plan. In the same way, we all have a role to play—whether in church, at work, or in our friend groups.
