December 26, 2025 Today’s passage reminds us: Faith leaves evidence that points others to God. 3. ✝️ Joshua 22:21-34 The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh explained that the altar they built was not for sacrifices or rebellion, but as a witness—a sign for future generations that they belong to the Lord, even though they live east of the Jordan. They feared being excluded from worship later, so the altar was meant to preserve unity and faith. Phinehas and Israel’s leaders accepted this explanation, praised God, and abandoned plans for war.
