There, an angel told them that Jesus had risen just as He said and instructed them to tell the disciples to go to Galilee. The women left with fear and great joy, and on the way, the risen Jesus met them. They took hold of His feet and worshiped Him, and Jesus told them again not to be afraid. 4. 📖 Key Verse And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” (v. 9a) 5. 📝 Reflection The risen Jesus suddenly appeared to the women and greeted them: “Peace be with you.” This scene gives us deep and profound comfort.
