π People often doubt the gospel because it seems too easy. Our world prizes effort and exclusivity, but salvation isn’t earned—it’s a free gift from God. Anyone who believes and confesses Jesus as Lord is saved. If you have faith today, it’s grace. Live gratefully in that truth.

7-Step QT Notes
1. π Quiet Time
Pause. Take a deep breath. Ask God to remind you that salvation is His gift, not your achievement, and to help you rest in His grace today.
2. π September 26, 2025
Today’s passage reminds us: Salvation is simple because grace is free.
3. ✝️ Romans 10:1–13
Paul explains that righteousness doesn’t come from our effort or keeping the law but through faith in Christ. Anyone—Jew or Gentile—who believes in Jesus and confesses Him as Lord will be saved. There’s no fine print, no hidden requirements. It’s all grace.
4. π Key Verse
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (v. 9)
5. π Reflection
When people first hear the gospel, many ask: “How can salvation be that easy? It almost sounds too good to be true.” We live in a world where everything valuable comes with a price—hard work, long hours, and sacrifice. The harder it is to get, the more we call it “premium” or “exclusive.” We chase those things because they make us feel successful and admired.
But the gospel isn’t like that. Whether rich or poor, young or old, anyone can be saved by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in Him. Why is it so simple? Because God designed it that way. And here’s the surprising part: even though it’s simple, many still refuse to believe. That too is under God’s sovereignty.
So if you believe today, that’s not because you earned it—it’s because of God’s grace. Your faith is a gift. Let that truth fill you with gratitude and joy. Live today fully aware of this amazing grace.

Lord, thank You for making salvation simple and free. Forgive me for trying to earn what You’ve already given by grace. Help me rest in Your love and live with gratitude and boldness today. Teach me to share this good news with others who need hope. Amen.
Scriptures
π 1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6 But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom 10:1-13, ESV).
