7-Step QT Notes
1. π Quiet Time
Take a moment to slow down. Breathe.
Invite God into this space. He’s not just watching your story—He’s writing it with mercy.
2. π June 22, 2025
Today is a new day. Let’s meet God through His Word.
3. ✝️ Psalm 78:32–39
Even after seeing God’s power, the people kept sinning.
They remembered God—but only when they were desperate.
Yet God, full of compassion, forgave them again and again.
Why? Because He remembered they were human—fragile, fleeting, and in need of grace.
4. π Key Verses
“They remembered that God was their rock,
the Most High God their redeemer.” (v. 35)
“He remembered that they were but flesh,
a wind that passes and comes not again.” (v. 39)
5. π Reflection
This passage is both heartbreaking and beautiful.
- Heartbreaking because it shows how forgetful and unfaithful we can be.
- Beautiful because it shows how faithful and forgiving God is.
God’s people remembered Him—but only when things got hard.
And even then, their hearts weren’t fully His.
But God? He remembered them—not just their sin, but their weakness.
And instead of giving up on them, He gave them grace.
This isn’t weakness. It’s love:
- God doesn’t forgive because He’s naΓ―ve.
- He forgives because He’s merciful.
So today, let this passage remind you:
- God knows your limits—and still loves you.
- His mercy isn’t based on your performance, but on His character.
- You can return to Him again and again, not because you deserve it, but because He delights in showing mercy.
Let’s be a generation that remembers—not just when we’re desperate, but daily.
Let’s respond to His mercy with real trust and real obedience.

Scriptures
π 32 In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe. 33 So he made their days vanish like a breath, and their years in terror. 34 When he killed them, they sought him; they repented and sought God earnestly. 35 They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer. 36 But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues. 37 Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not faithful to his covenant. 38 Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath. 39 He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again (Ps 78:32-39, ESV).
